‘Blockchain Technology : Opportunities for Healthcare’
27th July, 2018 at 3.30 p.m. at FTAPCCI Surana Auditorium, Red Hills, Hyderabad
Blockchain is an emerging way for businesses, industries, and public organizations to almost instantaneously make and verify transactions using a digital transaction ledger —streamlining business processes, saving money, and reducing the potential for fraud. In healthcare, critical information is scattered across multiple systems and sometimes, it may not be accessible when needed the most. The current healthcare infrastructure has often been called inadequate to handle information exchange and requires certain tweaks. Blockchain has the potential to alleviate the major challenges of the healthcare industry – transmission of patient data across geographies without comprising its privacy and security. The blockchain application can have a major, positive impact on member health management and also provide a critical link in the support of medical tourism.
To sensitize and create awareness, FTAPCCI with the support of Aurobindo Pharma Limited is organizing a Program on ‘Blockchain Technology : Opportunities for Healthcare’ on 27th July, 2018 at 3.30 p.m. at FTAPCCI Surana Auditorium, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
